it’s been TWO years at Uscreen now, and?it's never been a more exciting time for me and the team! over the last year I've had a lot of professional challenges which took a huge chunk of my time and required me to think outside the box - as a result, we've managed to build some truly incredible things, and here's just a small list of achievements I feel terribly proud of: ?? our efforts on establishing a 100% global workplace have been paying off: today, we are a huge bunch of amazing people located in Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Croatia, Germany, India, Ireland, Japan, Kazakhstan, Mexico, North Macedonia, Panama, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, UAE, UK, and US (among others) - it's been truly fun learning new things from and with each other ?? ?? remote work once again became our true superpower, allowing us to maintain proper work-life balance, share hobbies (attending coffee courses together, traveling to other countries with the teammates... and this is just the beginning) and get all the necessary support to relax and recharge! ??? on a personal note, taking lead on People Operations and working on improving our internal processes (as well as hiring) has been a fantastic challenge, and I probably had way too many coffees and sleepless nights over the past 12 months, but honestly, all of it has been worth it ? here's to an amazing squad at Uscreen who's turned these two years into a fantastic journey full of grind, sweat, smiles and pride! I couldn't wish for a better team ??

Investor activity remained strong this week, with significant deals in fintech, AI, and cybersecurity. Jeitto, a Brazilian fintech focused on financial solutions for low-income individuals, acquired Pilla, expanding its footprint in the credit market. Globally, LiquidityBook, A FactSet Company was acquired by FactSet for $247 million, further consolidating the financial technology space. Meanwhile, Zilla Security was acquired by CyberArk for $175 million. On the funding side, Alice, a Brazilian digital health platform, raised $22 million in a Series C extension round from KASZEK, ThornTree Capital Partners, Canary, and Globo Ventures. In the global stage, leading legaltech Harvey raised $300 million in a Series D round at a $3 billion valuation, led by Sequoia Capital with participation from Coatue, GV (Google Ventures), and OpenAI Startup Fund.? Other notable deals of the week include: - Tabby’s $165 million Series E at a $3.3 billion valuation with backing from Blue Pool Capital and Hassana Investment Company. - Uscreen’s $150 million private equity round led by PSG. - Tines’ $125 million Series C round at a $1.1 billion valuation led by GS Growth. - Eudia’s $105 million Series A round led by General Catalyst. - nCino, Inc.’s $53 million acquisition of Sandbox Banking.
