The Power to Shape Policy. The Power to Expedite Trade.
关于我们
The United States Council for International Business (USCIB) advances the global interests of American business. We do so through advocacy that calls for an open system of world trade, finance and investment, where business can flourish and contribute to economic growth, human welfare and environmental protection. No other American business organization provides its members with better access to key intergovernmental bodies worldwide. USCIB’s advocacy spans a broad range of policy issues, leveraging the expertise of our business members and a unique network of global business organizations: the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Business at OECD, and the International Organization of Employers (IOE). Through these organizations’ official consultative status in major intergovernmental forums, USCIB represents American business positions both to the U.S. government and to such organizations such as the UN system, the OECD and the International Labor Organization. The Power to Shape Policy. The Power to Expedite Trade.

Thank you to?United States Council for International Business (USCIB)?and the?Transatlantic Policy Network (TPN)?for inviting?#IBM?to be part of this important discussion in Brussels on “Seeking Common Cause 2025: The Future of?#Transatlantic?Relations” together with my excellent co-panelists:?Claudia Selli?Rupert Schlegelmilch?Anthony Gooch Gálvez?George Riddell It is obvious that????? ???? relations are being tested at the moment, which is why we must remain focused on finding paths to avoid counterproductive?measures and policies that would damage a trade and investment partnership worth almost $9 trillion and 16 million direct jobs. For?#EU?and?#US?businesses operating on both sides of the Atlantic (some, like us, for more than a century), it’s very clear that our mutual strategic interests and economic security are best advanced through stronger - not weaker - transatlantic cooperation (and a more integrated, competitive EU #SingleMarket) #digitaltrade?#transatlantictrade?#TTC Alice Slayton Clark Vivien Haig

It was an honor and a thrill to participate in the ILO's tripartite technical meeting on access to labor justice last week. Governments, employers, and workers came together to share lessons learned on labor dispute prevention and resolution (LDPR). On behalf of the United States Council for International Business (USCIB), I had the privilege of representing US employers during this important discussion. After many hours of deliberation and negotiation, we reached consensus on a series of recommendations to promote access to labor justice for all. Our conclusions highlight the importance of reducing informality, supporting social dialogue, establishing or strengthening mechanisms for LDPR, and respecting all Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We also emphasized the potential of digital technologies to improve the efficiency and accessibility of LDPR tools. It was such a pleasure to work with brilliant and dedicated colleagues from around the world. Sincere thanks to Rita Yip, Kaizer Moyane, Matias Espinosa, and Tess Mitchell for your phenomenal work leading the employer group!

An honor to be back at the OECD, representing United States Council for International Business (USCIB), discussing the vital input that US business provides across the OECD's many work areas. Really good discussions during a time of global uncertainty.
The OECD's engagement with business reflects our founding mission. Today, Business at OECD (BIAC) held Annual Consultations with Ambassadors and Secretary-General Mathias Cormann. Find out more: https://brnw.ch/21wQL6P
