This past Tuesday, DMA had the pleasure of hosting?Shayla Williams, a brand strategist, marketer, and consultant for "Pitch Perfect", a pitch deck workshop. Shayla shared her marketing journey with our members and gave them the perfect recipe to pitch their ideas and concepts and to pitch themselves as creatives and aspiring marketers. We can't thank Shayla enough for sharing her insights and giving us valuable techniques!? ? ?? Make sure to follow our Instagram @uscdma for all our event updates!

Last week, DMA held its first-ever peer mentorship workshop! USC students gathered for our first "Intern Insights" session where they received resume trips and tricks directly from USC students currently interning at goop, SM & Kakao Entertainment America, FOX Sports, NBCUniversal, and Warner Bros. Discovery. We cannot thank our student panelists enough for coming out to share what they've learned from their current and past internships with us! Thanks again Annie Zheng, Samantha F., Chris Turino, Sethan Perez, and Nicole Song! And shout out to our moderator, Shima Konishi-Gray, for making the panel portion of our session go as smoothly as possible. We can't wait to host more peer mentorship events in the future! ?? Make sure to follow our Instagram @uscdma for all our event updates!
