One of our most popular sessions! Did you attend this USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy session during Alumni Weekend? Share your favorite moment or thoughts below ?????
A week ago today, the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy participated in the USC Alumni Weekend programming for the first time in Academy history. Our "Unbridled Creativity: USC Iovine and Young Academy" session surpassed all expectations with over 115 registrations from USC alumni and their guests, making it the most popular session on campus that day. The event featured remarks from Dean Thanassis Rikakis, providing attendees with an in-depth understanding of the Academy and its unique Challenge-Based Reflective Learning (CBRL) model. Guests were then treated to several presentations from Academy student ventures and creatives, Noy Chatoyan, Ezra B., Samson Taxon, Peiyi Sun, Campbelle Searcy, and Ming Jin Yong. As one of our attendees—a proud Half-Century Trojan—so eloquently put it, “The future of young alumni is bright.” Thank you to the USC Alumni Association for organizing an exceptional 4-day program for all USC alumni, family, and friends. Counting the hours to begin the #USCAlumniWeekend festivities. Even though I am on campus often for football games and other events, it will be very special and emotional as I celebrate with my fellow alumni of the #Classof1974 ???? I still vividly remember my classes inside Student Union overlooking Tommy Trojan! How can 50 years have passed so quickly!
