#FullCircleMoment Really proud to have participated in University of Southern California Leslie and William McMorrow Neighborhood Academic Initiative as part of USC Marshall School of Business’ #FoodIndustryManagement program. For over 30 years, the NAI has operated as a college access and success program through #USC’s Educational Relations. #GivingBack It serves 1,000+ 6-12th grade students from South and East #LosAngeles with Saturday classes that cover personal development, SAT prep, college admissions, and more. This week, our #FIM classmates donated grocery staples and assembled hundreds of care package bags. Today was the day that we got to hand out the bags to the families that are enrolled as part of the NAI and the staff that make it all possible (some NAI graduates themselves). Thank you to my fellow NAI Committee teammates Melissa Brockelmeyer Muhammad Ali, MBA Jake Socci , and Jennifer Berterretche/Olivera . Thank you Jennifer Fisher, Brenda Farfan , Ericka Paez , Marcy Higareda , and Maleah "Mimi" Bolton for guiding us. And special thanks to my Stater Bros. Introducing the Food Industry Managment Class of 2024! We have 32 students representing 15 retailer companies and 8 suppliers. We have students from Arizona, California, New Jersey, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. For the first time in the history of the program, we have 4 generations in one class: from Baby Boomer to Generation Z. We are excited to have them with us and look forward to watching their growth over the next 14 weeks ?
