For those who don’t know me well, here’s a quick bio. I usually introduce myself by saying, “If fintech had a chaos button, I’ve probably pressed it” (but always for the right reasons). I’ve spent my career at the intersection of financial services and technology, solving problems where traditional systems fall short. From restructuring banks during the financial crisis to designing the original use cases for Square Cash, I’ve had the privilege of working on both sides of the ledger, strategy and execution. As Advisor to the CEO at SoFi, I helped guide the acquisition of two billion dollar + acquisitions (Galileo and Technisys), the purchase of a bank, and bringing the company public. Then, as Head of Strategy at Galileo, the processor that powered 85% of the challenger banks, like Chime, Robinhood, and Current, I helped drive growth and the integration of Galileo into SoFi. I’ve seen firsthand how technology can dismantle outdated models, streamline complexity, and create more value for businesses and consumers alike. What drives me today is simple: The belief that financial systems should work better, for everyone. Blockchain, payments, and lending aren’t just industries; they’re opportunities to rewrite the rules in a way that’s more efficient, transparent, and inclusive. Building USBC, a novel, compliant stablecoin solution, is how I plan to turn that belief into action.
