Army - ArmyIgnitED - Market Research On behalf of the Army, GSA is conducting market research to understand capabilities related to providing the below requirement: Continued capability support services to the ArmyIgnitED system, a Business Category II program supporting 515K users - Soldier, cadet, Civilian, education centers, schools, and vendors for tuition and credentialing assistance (TA & CA) capabilities. ArmyIgnitED streamlines end-to-end TA and CA processes; eliminates capability gaps of legacy systems; provides a role-based user interface that is intuitive and easy to use, requiring minimal specialized or formal training to operate; and provides global user access via its web-based application. ArmyIgnitED is in the process of migrating to the Air Force Cloud One environment as an Impact Level 4 service and will obtain it's own ATO. CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Garnard GW Gus Burnside II, product lead for the Army Enterprise Staff Management System (AESMS) as he retires from federal service. PEO Enterprise held a ceremony honoring Mr. Burnside on Nov. 18. Before joining PEO Enterprise, Mr. Burnside supported the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Counternarcotics and Global Threats at U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM), supported the DOD civilian expeditionary workforce as chief of police at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan, and also served a distinguished 24-year career in the Army. Mr. Burnside is a PEO Enterprise trailblazer and will be missed.
