After more than two decades, Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) has introduced a new name and branding as the organization continues its digital transformation journey. Effective Oct. 1, 2024, PEO EIS is officially known as?Program Executive Office Enterprise?(PEO Enterprise). The Honorable Douglas R. Bush, Assistant Secretary of the Army for Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology [ASA(ALT)], approved the name change on Sept. 4, 2024. On Sept. 25, our Deputy PEO Brig. Gen. RJ Mikesh welcomed three new PEO Enterprise interns to the Polk Building in Crystal City, Virginia to kick off our full-time internship program. This new talent program represents a strategic investment in building the next generation of acquisition leaders and innovators here at PEO Enterprise. Two of the interns are working with our Enterprise Services portfolio, and one is supporting our Defense Integrated Business Systems (DIBS)/Army Contract Writing System program. AIE REBOOT UPDATE. Army recruiters currently navigate 11 disparate systems, leading to inefficiencies and frustration. Accessions Information Environment (AIE) will consolidate those systems into a single platform, eliminating the need for “swivel chair” operations. ? Yesterday, early adopters started hands-on experimentation with AIE’s current functionality. ?
