Last week, MAJ Erin Stone, Mental Domain Lead, and Dr. Kevin Bigelman, Deputy Director Holistic Health and Fitness Directorate, presented a talk on the US Army #H2F System at the 45th International Conference on Military Medicine World Congress in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The conference included over 1,400 attendees from 73 countries and showcased successes of military medicine in shaping global health, collaboration between allies and partners, and sharing of lessons learned in Human Performance Optimization. Leaders from across the Virginia National Guard embarked on Joint Base Little Creek- Fort Story for a three-day workshop dedicated to improving Soldier readiness and sharing best practices between their Holistic Health and Fitness #H2F Integrators, Master Resilience Trainers #MRT, and civilians. “A lot of the Soldiers were not aware that some of these resources existed,” said Alton L. Sturdifen, Sr., Virginia National Guard Resilience, Risk Reduction and Suicide Prevention coordinator. “During the workshop, the MRTs and H2F-Is worked together to develop a better plan to implement the programs within their units.” https://lnkd.in/e7HKkR6F
