Meet Brent Navratil, our Director of International Sales ???? He has been with The Op for a whopping 19 years! ?? What’s your favorite part of your job? Well, there are a lot of great aspects of my job, but I would have to say being able to travel all over the world to attend trade shows. Some that I regularly attend are UK Games Expo, Nuremburg Toy Fair, Essen Spiel, London Toy Fair and Australia Toy Fair. It's wild how different countries have different tastes for games. All this travel has me constantly learning about the industry and how it varies so much country to country, which is something I truly enjoy. ?? What’s your favorite project that you’ve been involved in at The Op? This one is easy. When Flip 7 came in to us I was immediately in love with it, but it wasn’t the game you see today. There were many tweaks and changes to gameplay through rounds of testing. Watching this game come to life and being able to give feedback as it was being developed was so enjoyable. Flip 7 is a special game. ?? What’s your favorite tabletop game? I am a classic Ticket to Ride guy; it has done so much for tabletop gaming by helping get non-gamers into the hobby, that you have to love it if you work in this industry. ?? Do you have any other hobbies outside of board gaming? I love to hike, go to the gym (especially the sauna), box in VR, surf, golf, travel (not for work), work on my yard, spend time with my family, attend live music shows, and pretend to be an interior designer with my home.
