Just wrapped up an incredible trip to Sacramento for the Educating for Careers conference hosted by California ACTE and Napa County Office of Education! ?? It was awesome to meet CTE educators from all over California, all passionate about preparing students with future-ready skills. I had the privilege of delivering a session based on my experience as the cohost of Careers in Esports where Richard Conti and I interview Esports & gaming industry pros. This was also my first time in Sacramento, and it was extra special to reconnect with some friends while in town. Always great catching up with my colleagues Jill Ranucci, Dr. Laura Good, and Kevin He, and meeting incredible educators like Tammie Holloway and Adam Lopez, who brought out a panel of students from UC Davis to speak about their experience running a collegiate Esports program. Looking forward to continuing the momentum and working together with the United States Academic Esports League and Mastery Coding to bring more opportunities to students through gaming, Esports, and high-quality STEM & CTE resources.
