Partnerships are essential and managing the Missouri River takes teamwork. Last week, along with our teammates from U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, US Army Corps of Engineers St Louis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District and Memphis District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, we met with federal and state partners in Jefferson City, Missouri to strengthen collaboration, improve river management and synchronize efforts. The University of Kansas engineering students recently spent time with us to learn about #USACE and our diverse projects portfolio. They met with our commander, Col. Andrew Niewohner, and got insight into how their areas of study (chemical and electrical engineering) are crucial to the field.
