关于我们
USA for IOM is the International Organization for Migration (IOM)’s nonprofit partner in the United States. Our Mission is to raise awareness about our global priorities, including: - Climate Change and Natural Disasters: assisting migrants displaced by a climate that endangers their wellbeing or livelihood. - Poverty and Conflict: helping those escaping complex emergencies including violence, destitution, and unstable environments. - Human-trafficking: protecting victims of trafficking in persons enslaved by the demand for cheap labor, sexual services, and other criminal activities. To achieve this goal, we spur action and investment for migration initiatives by fostering partnerships with academia, philanthropy, and the private sector AND by mobilizing support from the American people.

This year's PLURAL+ Youth Video Festival on Migration, Diversity & Social Inclusion gathered the ideas and creations of many talented young people from around the world. USA for IOM recognized the film 'The Other Planet' developed by a group of 10 children in Belgium, a touching story of extraterrestrials - a mother and daughter - displaced by an attack on their Red Planet, who make their way to the Blue Planet, and their first awkward and then accepting interactions with residents.? Learn more about the film and PLURAL+ in our latest article: https://lnkd.in/gSUCVrZr Ville de Liège, CRIPEL asbl, Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles, Camera-etc.
