This International Women’s Day, we spotlight fearless women reshaping the landscape of sport with a live panel discussion hosted by our Empowering Women’s Business Resource Group. F1 Academy and Tommy Hilfiger Driver Alba Hurup Larsen, U.S. SailGP Team Sailor Anna Weis, and former race car driver and Sky Sports TV Presenter Naomi Schiff came together to share their experiences, challenges and insights on creating a more inclusive future in sport. “Women in sport are not just breaking barriers; we are redefining what is possible. Every race, every competition, and every challenge we face is a step toward equality and empowerment. Together, we can inspire the next generation of female athletes to unapologetically chase their dreams,” said Naomi Schiff. When asked about her journey and the impact of representation, Alba Larsen reflected on her own path in motorsport, sharing: “I’m so excited to use my platform to show young girls that if you believe in yourself, anything is possible. Keep pushing, keep dreaming, and never give up.” Anna Weis also shared her insights, speaking on the importance of systems of support, emphasizing: “It takes a village to make a dream happen. That’s why it’s so important to keep opening doors for women in sport, to make sure the next generation has the chance to go even further.” The session was a powerful reminder that the future of sport is being rewritten — one race, one competition, and one fearless dream at a time. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD #TommyHilfiger

It is incredibly inspiring to have Tommy Hilfiger as a partner. I first DM'd Tommy in 2018, knowing that the likelihood of him seeing my message was extremely low. A year later I was watching the Met Gala - Tommy & Dee where decked out in stunning Red, White & Blue and Lewis Hamilton was wearing a custom TH suit. I wanted to send another DM but fear of being rejected I decided not to. The next week, I ran into Lewis at Soho House and decided it must be a sign! I sent Tommy another DM. Five years later those DM's turned into a global partnership between one of the most iconic fashion brands and our U.S. SailGP Team! I love Tommy's words below. Moments like this remind me that it's not where you start, but where you finish. The biggest fear should not be failure itself but deciding not to try one more time. Here's to always trying one more time Tommy! “It was a huge risk, and the fashion press and retailers weren’t exactly thrilled at first. But seeing my name in Times Square made a statement, and that bold move helped me stand out and leapfrog the competition,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “I want the Tommy Hilfiger name to stand for more than just fashion — to symbolise individuality, inclusivity and positive change. This is your sign to start upcycling ???? Upcycling is reusing outdated apparel or items to give it a second life or new function. This reduces waste and keeps materials out of the ocean. This year we upcycled our old team kit and turned it into specialty bags rather than disposing into landfills where they could pollute the ocean ?? Here is our impact so far???? ?? 27.17 kg of textiles repurposed, preventing synthetic materials from entering the ocean, landfill or incineration ?? 465.17 kg of CO?e avoided by repurposing kit instead of producing new materials for partner gifting items ???13,798.7 litres of water saved, equivalent to over 120 five-minute showers or nearly twelve years’ worth of drinking water for one person ??? 0.27 cubic meters of landfill volume saved, equal to two household wheelie bins of discarded apparel or 8,300 plastic water bottles in volume ?? 95 labour hours invested, enabling four skilled textile workers to develop expertise in upcycling technical sports apparel, particularly in repurposing high-performance, synthetic sailing kit And that's just the start!
