The United States Performance Center is a 10,000 square-foot performance facility located in Charlotte, NC dedicated to research-based athletic development, injury prevention, and overall health and wellness. At USPC, we utilize an integrated approach to performance training, supported by proper nutrition protocols and state-of-the-art technology, to offer customized training programs scientifically developed to help each individual athlete reach his or her full physical potential. Our life-long development offerings range from youth, middle / high school, collegiate, and elite / professional, including young adult through later adulthood. All programs are backed by a research-based training protocol developed in conjunction with motor development models to provide safe and effective training, regardless of age and activity level. USPC’s long-term mission is to create a community of athletes united in the common goal of reaching their full potential in human performance, health and wellness. The HTA held its first quarter General Meeting at the beautiful Sheraton/Le Meridien Uptown Hotel Complex. The event drew more than 350 industry professionals and featured presentations from key organizations such?as the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority, NJCAA, Southern Entertainment, and the US Performance Center, followed by a reception where a handful of HTA Corporate Members had the opportunity to showcase their businesses to our attendees. In 2024, Charlotte's hospitality sector had a significant economic impact of $7.9 Billion (yes, with a B!). Looking ahead, Charlotte is set to host the 2025 World Taekwondo Grand Prix Challenge and in the running for the 2027 World Military Games, further solidifying its position as a hub for world-class events. By the way, did you know that over 80 US Olympic Athletes train in Charlotte? We had a number of them recognized at our meeting. #CharlottesGotALot The HTA takes pride in playing a significant role in these advancements and invite you to be part of our journey towards an even more remarkable 2025.
