The 2024 Policy Forum will explore ways that the U.S. embrace of industrial policy is impacting its economic engagement around the world and examine initiatives that economies in the Indo-Pacific are undertaking in response to great power competition in their region. In 2023, PECC contributed to the United States – Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) host year priority to increase multistakeholder engagement in the APEC process. These efforts were recognized by APEC Leaders in San Francisco in November, where they declared the importance of strengthening multistakeholder engagement. We look forward to supporting APEC Perú 2024’s efforts to continue multistakeholder outreach and engagement with initiatives like APEC Citizen Peru 2024 #APECciudadano and other public private partnerships. https://lnkd.in/gRDDV_Sy
