Laughter is a powerful tool for healing. Yesterday, approximately 50 service members participated in the "1 Degree of Separation" show at NAS North Island. Comedians shared personal stories, using humor to address critical mental health topics like depression and suicide, fostering an environment for open conversations. As part of the Navy’s broader suicide prevention efforts, Navy FFR is proud to host more "1 Degree of Separation" shows around the world in the coming months. These events continue to create safe spaces for Sailors, families, and DOD civilians to discuss mental health in a supportive and approachable setting. To learn more, visit navymwr.org/1degree.
