I hope all of you are having a nice Thanksgiving. All of us who are part of the effort to restore American innovation are like family. We may not all agree on everything, but we agree on this. As you spend time with your friends and loved ones, raise a glass to your extended family across America, your brothers and sisters in this critical mission. We are strong and we are growing and getting stronger. Relax, take some time and recharge. And realize that we are totally committed to winning this battle, and it is as important as any battle that this great nation faces. With you and all of our members across America, we will continue, increase our efforts and we will win. #patent #inventor #invention #ptab #startup #china #intellectualproperty #americandream?

?? Happy Thanksgiving from US Inventor! ?? Today, we pause to reflect on what we’re truly grateful for: the incredible community of inventors we have the honor to fight for and with every day. You are the pioneers of change, the creators of life-saving technologies, and the masterminds behind the fun and exciting gadgets that bring joy to the world. Your courage and creativity inspire us. We know the fight to restore inventor rights can feel overwhelming, but on this day, we are reminded of something greater: Inventors are the cleverest, most determined change makers in our nation. You don’t just dream up ideas; you perfect them. You invest your time, your resources, and your hearts to protect those ideas with patents. And you often build businesses around them, creating jobs and opportunities for Americans. Even if we’re not yet “succeeding” in our fight to restore our patent rights, we are thriving as creators, builders, and inspirations to this country. So today, we’re thankful for you—for your bravery, your ingenuity, and your contributions to making the world a better place. Together, we’ll keep fighting for the rights you deserve. ? –The US Inventor Team Josh Malone Randy Landreneau Dirk Tomsin Molly Metz #inventor #usinventor

The Cruz "inventor consent to the PTAB" amendment said that an inventor who has fewer than 500 employees and less than $25 million income would have to consent to being taken to the PTAB. I don't love any financial limit, but why is this so objectionable to Senator Coons and all the Senators who voted against the amendment? What is the problem with a successful inventor being able to have a jury trial? What is the problem with a startup that is starting to compete with Big Tech being able to have a jury trial? I've heard it is because people like Zuckerberg of Facebook would benefit. What? Zuckerberg has been PTAB'd 5 or 6 times (primarily by Blackberry) and has PTAB'd others 157 times! Is it more important to make Zuckerberg face the PTAB if he ever comes up with something new and patentable again or to keep him and others from unjustly invalidating the patents of all the American startups that are so needed now? What are these people thinking? #patent #invention #inventor #PTAB #startup #AmericanDream #China

Last week the PREVAIL act passed the markup hearing in the Senate. PREVAIL, got all nice and marked up (changed) in a manager’s amendment, for no one to see. Rumor has it that the changes to PREVAIL will keep the PTAB as status quo. What good is a bill that keeps everything the same? It seems many Senators were grumbling over PREVAIL and have asked to change aspects of it because they are concerned for you and me and the rise of drug prices. Hence the managers amendment. Gosh, was the AIA passed in 2011 to create the PTAB to lower drug prices? I thought it was to get rid of “trolls”? Ok, let’s pretend PTAB was put in place to fix high drug prices. That means since 2011, drug prices should be low, right? They aren’t. We here about high drug prices ALL THE TIME. I reflect on the article attached to this post and the numerous Senate Hearings that have discussed PBM’s as THE reason for high drug prices. Is this the way the Senate works? What is going on here? Ignorance? Forgetfulness? Duping the people? Lack of education? Lack of concern? Maybe they think no one is watching these hearings? Well, we are. This is getting messy and embarrassing. And finally, how about the last minute “request” by Senator Coons to vote no on Senator Cruz’s amendment. Cruz’s amendment was the only thing on the floor that actually did something. ******************************************* Article about the FTC suing PBM's for high drug prices: https://lnkd.in/gWpkEVdP

Is this appropriate for LinkedIn? My business was being destroyed in 2017 by the USPTO PTAB, as they were taking back my patents one after another. Back then I believed that inventing was a legitimate profession. I didn't know that big tech (Google, IBM, Apple, Cisco, and Intel Corporation) were rigging the patent office by installing their lawyers to make the rules and hire the people to take back patents from their competitors. The latest episode is Vishal Amin who wrote the law to create the PTAB to take back patents from inventors, cashed out by lobbying for Intel -- is now the leading candidate to be the next Director of the USPTO for Trump. This is utterly corrupt. Is burning patents appropriate content for LinkedIn? For me I don't see any other way for inventing to be a profession again.

This was from yesterday. Senator Cruz presented the “inventor consent” amendment to the PREVAIL Act. His presentation of our issue was excellent, and he described the PTAB experience of our member David Furry. 6 Senators voted for it - Lee, Cruz, Hawley, Cotton, Grassley and Blackburn. 14 Senators voted against it - Durbin, Whitehouse, Klobuchar, Coons, Blumenthal, Hirono, Booker, Padilla, Ossoff, Welch, Butler, Cornyn, Kennedy and Tillis. Because of all of your efforts across America and in DC, our issue is more known than ever now. We will not let up. We will continue the fight until we restore our rights. #inventor #invention #patent #PTAB #startup #AmericanDream #intellectualproperty #china

Justice ?? Why don't more people fight to prevent an injustice? Because they haven't lived through one. Why fight for something that didn't affect you? It's none of your business, right? Everyday an injustice happens. Relying on one person to fight is not enough. I think it is our duty as people to speak up for one another. Use your voice. ?? Stand up for others. ???? *Inventor Scott Sander pictured. PTAB destroyed his business. US Inventor #inventors #justice Randy Landreneau Josh Malone Dirk Tomsin
