Dan Radomski, myself, and the rest of the team at Centrepolis Accelerator @ Lawrence Technological University have been beating the drum regarding the importance of domestic manufacturing, and walking the walk through our Industry 4.0 Accelerator bringing the best advanced manufacturing technologies to Michigan-based companies for the last five years. This news couldn't come at a better time, and Michigan is poised to be the leader in advanced manufacturing and reindustrialization across the USA. I'm putting the manufacturing Bat Signal up to anyone working at Apple and Michigan State University on the strategy for bringing this academy to life. Between Centrepolis, Lean Rocket Lab, Newlab, Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Western Michigan University, the University of Michigan, and Automation Alley, not to mention the tens of thousands of Michigan Manufacturers, we have the know-how, and real-world experience deploying these technologies, and the skills it takes to prepare workers for the future of advanced manufacturing.
