All the Way! Paratroopers from the 82nd Airborne Division, U.S. Army, part of Task Force Castle, are using the all-terrain Infantry Squad Vehicle to deliver supplies on routes near Pensacola, N.C., that civilian vehicles haven’t been able to travel. They’re working with local leaders to reach communities in need following Hurricane Helene.

This year’s Association of the U.S. Army Annual Meeting and Exposition will highlight the Army’s efforts to transform, modernize and restructure for the future fight. With a theme of “Transforming for a Complex World,” this year’s event is scheduled for Oct. 14–16 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. The three-day meeting will feature addresses and professional development forums by top US Army and United States Department of Defense leaders, including Army Secretary Christine Wormuth, Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George and Sgt. Maj. of the Army Michael Weimer. There also will be more than 700 exhibits spread over five halls featuring the latest technology and equipment and several award presentations, including the winners of the Best Squad Competition, the NCO and Soldier of the Year and the George Catlett Marshall Medal, AUSA’s highest award for selfless service to the country. The National Mounted Warrior Museum, located outside the Fort Cavazos' Visitor Center, is a state-of-the-art facility that will host a grand opening on Thursday, September 19th, 2024. Celebrate the rich history of mounted warfare and the brave soldiers who have shaped it be checking out the interactive exhibits and dynamic displays of military vehicles. Commanding general, MG Brett Sylvia and Division Command Sgt. Maj. Charles Walker, Sens. Mitch McConnell and Marsha Blackburn and Reps. James Comer and Mark Green attended the VOLAR barracks ribbon-cutting ceremony yesterday at Fort Campbell, Ky. The ceremony commemorated the opening of the new barracks which are meant to improve the quality of life for Soldiers.

23 years later, we have not forgotten. On Sept. 11, 2001, nearly 3,000 lives were lost during terrorist attacks that forever changed our nation.
