The Army is teaming up with ride-share companies to revamp base access for ride-share drivers. The pilot program is launching today at six major installations across the Army to streamline ride-share access for 600k Soldiers, families and retirees. The installations include: 1. Fort Bliss, Texas 2. Fort Bragg, N.C. 3. Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Wash. 4. Schofield Barracks, Hawaii 5. Fort Shafter, Hawaii 6. The 1st Cavalry Division Sustainment Brigade officially concluded its mission in Eastern Europe, casing its colors during a transfer of authority ceremony at Forward Operating Site Powidz, Poland, on Feb. 11, 2025. This symbolic transition marks the brigade’s departure from the European theater as it passes the mission to the 1st Armored Division Sustainment Brigade.
