This week Tom surprised one of our team members, Nicole, at our North Hollywood location with a Gold Sandwich! ? Tom wanted to create these Gold Sandwiches as a way to award and recognize team members who truly live by our core values. Nicole was chatting with a first-time guest and learned that the guest was having a rough day. Nicole took the initiative and decided to treat our guest with a free cookie, letting her know it would get better. Our guest was so moved by this, that she left the nicest review with a shoutout for Nicole. This is a great example of how the little things can make such a huge impact on our guest's lives. Last weekend a few of our office team members and their families came together to participate in the Hanuted Housing 5k! This race was in support of the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura's (HACSB) Scholarship Program. This year we hosted our Leadership Summit at the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown San Diego. Whenever he visits one of our locations, he often surprises the person behind him in line by covering their meal. Recently, Tom was in our Burbank location and paid for a guest, Deborah. She was touched by his generosity. A few weeks later, Tom visited our Arroyo Grande location and, to his surprise, ran into Deborah again. She was so excited to see him and introduced him to her friends. This story perfectly illustrates how small acts of kindness can create lasting connections.
