A successful partnership for our Grand Opening! ?? For our Long Beach Grand Opening, we partnered with the Assistance League of Long Beach, a local non-profit, for a Dine and Donate giveback day. We asked that if guests would like to participate in the Dine and Donate event they donate a minimum of $5 to the Assistance League. In return for their donation, we would thank them with a free meal. ?? Since community and giving are one of our core values, our Owner Tom decided to match every donation dollar for dollar. With his generous match and community donations, the Assistance League of Long Beach was able to raise a total of $4,718. Joey, our General Manager in Golden Valley recently hosted a few field trips with the Adult Transition?Program at Golden Valley High School, which offers community, occupational, and living skills to special needs adults transitioning to more independent living. ? One of the teachers, Sarah Castillo, reached out to us after her field trip to let us know that her students had a great time and that they appreciated the opportunity for their program. She said that Joey had a lot of great information for them and he was very engaging with the students! ?? ? What a Golden Sandwich! ?? ?? Tom presented our team member Leonardo Moreno?of Burbank with one of his prestigious Golden Sandwiches as a thank you for his great hospitality. ?? One of our guests visited the Burbank location but couldn't find their order. Ivan greeted the guest and figured out that their order was placed for another location. The guest had accidentally placed their order at a different location but thought it was for Burbank. Ivan jumped into action and told the guest not to worry, he would take care of it. He called the other location let them know, and helped the guest by making their order for them right there. The guest was so happy that we were able to help them out, and made their day. We're officially open in Long Beach! ?? Our Long Beach location in the Long Beach Exchange (LBX) at 4001 N. Lakewood Blvd officially opened last Friday the 7th, which kicked off a series of events and giveback days! We were welcomed to the city with the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting. Our team was presented certificates by Councilwoman Megan Kerr, Gardenia Guerrero the Long Beach Constituent Caseworker from Janice Hahn’s 4th County of Los Angeles Supervisor's office, a Representative from Assemblymember Josh Lowenthal’s office, and Christopher J. Perez the Community Development Deputy from Congressman Robert Garcia’s office. We also heard a few words from our CEO Tom Holt, and our General Manager for our Long Beach Location Nathan Epp. We have so many more events and give-back days for our Long Beach opening that we can't wait to share with you all! Let's Celebrate! ?? Our Grand opening for our 34th location in West Covina was a hit! We were joined by the Mayor of West Covina, Tony and his office, along with the West Covinas chamber, and our partners from Plaza West Covina for our ribbon cutting. We were also able to host our giveback days to support local healthcare workers and teachers, where we gave out free meals to them. We also hosted a fantastic VIP influencer event, where they got to experience our menu and learn a bit of our history. Our trainer and team members were fantastic, and made our opening as smooth as possible!
