As we begin the Thanksgiving season, we'd like to express our gratitude for our faithful leadership, clients, and employees who have made our firm successful over the past decade. As many of you know, Richard and his wife Ann are transitioning to retirement at the conclusion of this year.?Richard’s leadership and expertise have been instrumental in shaping our firm, and we’re grateful for all that they have done—they’ve truly become family to each of us. While it's hard to say goodbye, we're very excited for the next chapter of Urban Structure.?Mike will continue to manage the Austin office as he has done for the last nine years, while Jeff and Lando manage the Dallas/Fort Worth office.?Together our focus will be on serving our clients with the same top-notch structural engineering services that have been the benchmark for our success. Our team developed the structural plans that brought this vision to life in the Bishop Arts District in Dallas. The building truly shines at night, with its sleek lines and elegant curves highlighted by the ambient lighting. The dynamic design not only adds aesthetic appeal but also stands as a testament to modern structural engineering excellence.

Fire Station No. 2 - Anna, Texas We're proud to announce the completion of the 21,000-square-foot, 6.5 bay fire station. It’s been an honor to work alongside the City of Anna, Texas and Anna Fire Department on this important project. This past Saturday, our very own Jeff Reed, P.E., S.E., had the pleasure of attending the Texas A&M University football game—cheering on his alma mater as the Aggies secured a big win! It’s always a special experience when you get to support the team with friends and family while reminiscing about your college days. What makes it even more exciting? One of our projects is located within walking distance of Kyle Field! Once completed, the future occupants will have a spectacular view of the stadium right from their windows. Our Urban Structure - Austin office has worked very hard to provide the structural engineering plans for this project, and we love watching it take shape as part of the vibrant Texas A&M community.

We're excited to welcome Sebastian Cos to our team! As a new intern in our structural engineering department, he will be working alongside our experienced engineers on a variety of challenging and impactful projects.
