Urban Scene Development is a development firm specializing in rehabilitation and Historic Tax Credit projects throughout the Baltimore region. The firm is made up of two partners Mike Burton and Mark Shapiro. Mike Burton is also the owner of Urban Design Group, a Baltimore based architecture firm. Mr. Burton has 25+ years of experience as an AIA certified architect and has been developing properties since the mid-2000s. Mark Shapiro, also the owner of The Shapiro Company, has 40+ years in commercial brokerage, acquisitions, and development.
