Alex Urbanchek started with a single manual lathe and a contract to machine prototypes, and took the business to 120 employees (including 20 journeymen machinists), a 85,000 square foot facility, and an important list of key manufacturing customers.

Our Brookfield Facility's Swiss Turning Center of Excellence is adding capacity and larger part diameters to the overall Urban Capabilities Profile. We can now turn up to 43mm / 1-5/8" diameter. Earlier this Month, we celebrated our Subsidiary's, Oliver Manufacturing, Inc.'s 1 year anniversary. A significant milestone in our book! It's been quite the journey launching this added #ProductionMachining & #ToolandDie Manufacturing Platform from its previous form - including many long hours setting up the systems required to make everything 'sync up' between our two facilities. However, we've found remarkable achievement in our team's efforts and individual talents that has met our previously established #Urban20Initiative - of adding Real-Value to our customers and growing our 2nd generation family owned Manufacturing Operations. Notably, the 85,000 sq ft of added manufacturing space has added further #ProductionValue and #ToolingCapabilities - as well as overall strategic partnering to our many customers. As of February, 2024 this added space now also includes #CNCPrototyping and #Onboarding Facility implemented earlier this year. More updates to come! https://lnkd.in/g3sp3JNF
