We celebrate the confirmation of Mustafa Kasubhai to the U.S. District Court. After more than a year awaiting a vote, he was confirmed by the Senate on Nov. 19th. The Honorable Kasubhai will be the first Muslim man to serve as a federal judge in Oregon. Kasubhai has a long career in fighting for union and rural workers in Southern Oregon. We salute his historic appointment!
