Coleman, MBA, Atlanta Black Chambers, Dr. Ronald Cetoute, Georgia Haitian American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., Naheed Syed, US Pan Asian American Chamber of Commerce, Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Thank you to everyone who attended, ask questions, shared information and showed up to support. This is a real conversation with real action steps that we will take to pass this legislation. My goal as the Atlanta Black Chambers Government Affairs Chair, along with my co-chair?Hayden Singleton, was to bring together key voices to explore how set-aside legislation can level the playing field for small businesses, promote economic growth, and ensure a more equitable business environment across our state. The federal government limits competition for certain contracts to small businesses to help provide a level playing field. Those contracts are called “small business set-asides,” and they help small businesses compete for and win federal contracts. We aim to push for legislation in Georgia to do the same for small businesses with an annual revenue of $1 million or less and include “small business set-asides,” for contracts under $250,000. We are NOT asking for any socio-economic conditions (women-owned, disadvantaged business enterprise, veteran-owned, etc.) to be met, so this ask includes ALL small businesses in Georgia with annual revenues under $1 million. We aim to develop a unified strategy to encourage #Georgia legislators to enact policies that provide small businesses with greater opportunities to compete for government contracts, build capacity and scale. Call to Action (links in comments below): 1. Locate your elected officials? 2. Review the Small Business Development House Committee? 3. Register for the Connecting the Dots in the Great State of Georgia There’s no secret to success; there’s a blueprint. #montinaspeaks

Thanks to RadioOne Majic 107.7 and the Urban League of Greater Atl among other partners who ensured that the community was able to register to exercise their voice by registering to vote. The first 107 people who was registered to vote or registered on location received a free haircut. In addition we will be providing #93 additional haircuts throughout the remaining of October at the Atlanta Barber Institute at Greenbriar Mall . This was made possible through my personal enterprise company LPL Global, LLC and the support from a few supporters that came together for a great cause. I am grateful to serve others and give back to the same communities that allowed for me to become who I am today. Repost from #essenceofblackculture a highly followed Instagram blog who featured this for its audience. Join me in 2025 as this will become an opportunity regularly to give back and help restore young men self confidence through providing haircuts.

Our Cobb County Small Business Grant Program is making waves in our local business community! We brought together a diverse panel of seasoned professionals and industry experts to evaluate grant applications, ensuring a thorough review of each business's viability and potential community impact. On August 14th at Dream Creative Space in Marietta, GA, we held our 2024 pitch contest, awarding $20,000 grants to 11 deserving, minority-owned businesses! ?? Together, we’re not just offering financial support; but building a dynamic network of expertise and collaboration. Here’s to the future of local business! #smalllbusiness #supportsmallbusinessowners #atlantabusiness #businessgrant
