Urban Habitat is excited to introduce our new General Superintendent, Jeff Guthridge. Growing up in Southern California with strong family ties to the construction industry, Jeff gained early exposure to the trade by working alongside his grandfather and father at William A. Guthridge & Son Grading. From a young age, he immersed himself in construction, gaining hands-on experience across various tasks and projects. Jeff’s diverse background includes operating heavy equipment, grade checking, and stepping into leadership roles as a foreman, superintendent, and project manager. He has also developed expertise in business development and project estimating, contributing to the growth of companies such as Brightview and Trinity Grading. Through years of hands-on experience and tackling unique challenges, Jeff has built a well-rounded understanding of the construction process from the ground up. His wealth of experience and forward-thinking approach make him a valuable addition to the Urban Habitat team, and we look forward to the leadership and expertise he brings to the role.

The City of Carson is excited to kick off the redevelopment and expansion of Carriage Crest Park, a landmark project awarded to Urban Habitat with an approximately $25 million contract. Once completed, the 20-acre sports and entertainment-focused park will be a premier destination for residents and visitors alike. Today marks the beginning of an exciting transformation for Carriage Crest Park. Stay tuned for updates as we bring this vision to life!

We’re excited to introduce the newest member of our team, Frank Escobedo. Frank Escobedo joins us as our new Business Developer and brings decades of experience in the landscape industry, dating back to the late ‘80s. He has worked in maintenance, construction, design, irrigation, hardscape construction, lighting, arboriculture, water auditing, and risk assessment. Over the years, he has held multiple licenses and certifications, making him a valuable addition to our team.
