?? What an amazing evening celebrating women founders at EntrepreneuHER! Last week, Women Founders Bay and The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in San Francisco & Silicon Valley organized an inspiring event celebrating women in entrepreneurship. I had the privilege of joining the Personal Branding Panel, where we discussed how women founders can leverage personal branding to grow their startups, attract customers, and even secure investors. Over the past year, I grew my LinkedIn following from 2k to 15k+ by applying these 5 key steps. Here's how I did it: ?? Find Your Purpose – Your purpose should drive your brand, whether it’s a cause or a passion. Find something that you are passionate about! My mission has always been about making tech more diverse, so I focused my brand on empowering women around me! ?? Know Your Audience & Platform – Find where your audience lives and which type of content you prefer to create to select a social media platform. Do you prefer writing (LinkedIn), creating visuals (Instagram), short form (Twitter), videos (TikTok)? Since I love writing, I chose LinkedIn as my platform to share my insights. ?? Tell Your Story – People connect with people, not just brands. Don’t be afraid to share your personal journey. I shared my struggles and wins, and that resonated with my community. Your story is your competitive advantage. ?? Create Valuable Content – Test different types of content. Content can be educational or informal—both can work. I A/B tested content to see what my audience engaged with most and kept refining my approach. ?? Engage & Build Relationships – Building your brand is all about connections. Attend events, join communities, and always look for ways to add value first. Don't focus on "what can I get from this person," but rather "how can I add value to the community?" Building your personal brand is key to attracting customers, partners, and investors for your startup. ??
