Looking at a riverbed, you can see what lies below the surface without so much as seeing the ground. Glancing at the flow of water tells you much of what you need to know. In this case, the distinct "V" formation of liquid flow up top is a telltale sign of the anomalies that lay below. If only pipelines were that easy. We can't see the oil flow, or pipe walls, or much of anything really. But that's why Upstream Vee is here. To make finding those anomalies before they turn into failures. Spesificy our goal is to make cheap smart pigs that can be deployed as frequently as possible to catch potential pipeline issues as a result of our constantly changing world. At the moment we are also manufacturing pig catchers for smaller-than-pipe-diameter (STPD) pigs. With a device that can fit through any access port, there's no need to instill bypass pipes or anything fancy. Saving a tremendous amount of time and money.
