Our nozzlemen and trained operators travel to any of our job locations throughout the East Coast or anywhere needed for our customers.?We have the ability to do demolition, engineered designs, anchor layouts and installations.?We have the versatility within our crew to be self sufficient for each job through careful planning, safety, project management, and execution. In celebration of Women in Construction, URS would like to recognize our Quality Control Technician, Alie Sconzo. Alie has been a member of our team since May of 2023. Coming from the manufacturing industry as a machine operator, she transitioned into the construction industry seamlessly. Alie brings energy, engagement, and a desire to learn and find solutions to our company. She has quickly proven that she can adapt to the ever-changing nature of the refractory business and has taken ownership of the QC process as a means of keeping our customers satisfied and projects on target with both quality and time expectations. Alie enjoys working at URS because of the people she works with and because she feels like she makes a difference. ? Alie helps to ensure that our products meet the industry and customer standards through rigorous dimensional and surface quality inspections throughout the precast process - from forming to final visual inspection before shipment. Alie works on the shop floor as well as with the management group on a daily basis, takes care of inspections and documentation and works to continuously improve our process.?Alie has a bright career ahead with the URS team and we are grateful for her contributions to the company daily!
