I always enjoy collaborating with the amazing team at the Town of Kersey, and I’m thrilled to share that the Safe Streets and Roads for All grant we wrote this spring has been awarded by the USDOT! The Safety Action Plan and the resulting work will have a lasting impact, making the roads safer for everyone. I’m proud to have been part of this collaborative effort, and I can’t wait to see the positive changes ahead. Congratulations again to Kersey! The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law presents many opportunities for communities to apply for funding for their infrastructure projects. Together, we achieved an incredible accomplishment—a $9.6 million award for wildfire mitigation in the Red Feather Lakes area! I am grateful to this outstanding team for their dedication to creating a safe and resilient landscape. Congratulations to Sphere Renewables on their expansion and to our partners at the City of Fort Lupton and Weld County Government for their work on this project! Last week, we celebrated Sphere Renewables at a ribbon-cutting for their new headquarters facility in Fort Lupton. With their new 43,000 sq ft facility, Sphere Renewables is fortifying the manufacturing sector in Weld County and supporting the growing industry of renewable energy solutions. We are thrilled to highlight our partners at JE Dunn Construction for their recent contract with the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) for a new research facility. This new facility will enable materials and process innovations in energy storage, advanced manufacturing, grid modernization, and net-zero chemicals and fuels.
