Grammy Week was about UPROXX STUDIOS and the music community showing up for LA. This past Friday, UPROXX and FYI came together for LA Check-In, live from the FYI Campus. More than just a big party, it was LA doing what it does best—rallying together for its own. will.i.am, DJ Drama, Samantha Ronson, DJ Hed, and special performances set the tone, with incredible bar service courtesy of our amazing partners. The event capped off a powerful week where FYI and UPROXX Studios, in collaboration with will.i.am’s i.am Angel Foundation, the Annenberg Foundation, and WalkGood LA, teamed up with D-Nice to raise over $250,000 for those affected by the devastating LA wildfires. 100% of proceeds from The LA Check-In are being directed to LA fire relief efforts, providing immediate assistance through the LAUSD Foundation, Pasadena Educational Foundation, and Core Foundations. The power of music and community is real. Big love to everyone who showed up, performed, and contributed. And next year's Grammy Party will be under better circumstances.

Tomorrow night, UPROXX, FYI and will.i.am will host “LA Check In”, a special Pre-GRAMMYs event dedicated to supporting the LA music community and fire relief efforts. In partnership with the i.am Angel Foundation, the event will feature a night of music & giving back, with a performance by Coast Contra and special appearances by DJ Drama, DJ Hed, Samantha Ronson, will.i.am and many more surprise guests. 100% of proceeds will be directed to the i.am Angel Foundation’s emergency fund, which provides immediate financial assistance to affected families, students, and communities. Last week, UPROXX STUDIOS and FYI partnered with D-Nice,?will.i.am’s?i.am. Angel Foundation, the Annenberg Foundation, and WalkGood LA to make a meaningful impact. Together, we hosted the “LA Check In, ” a live stream event that raised over $250,000 for those affected by the devastating LA wildfires. The entire UPROXX STUDIOS family contributed, including DJ Hed, co-host of our flagship hip-hop debate show, who joined D-Nice to trade DJ duties during the two night-long telethon. What resonated most was the overwhelming sense of community — LA’s brightest talents coming together to prove that creativity and connection can drive change, even in the face of immense challenges.
