We are finishing up a project for the School District of Arcadia and the district finally received their rebate check from Focus on Energy earlier this week for $83,457.58 !! The district will also save over $70,000 per year on utility expenses. The $2.3M project consisted of boiler replacements, window retrofits and replacements, HVAC retro-commissioning, destratification fans, and electric sub metering. https://lnkd.in/gKjggrSZ

2024 was a great year, and looking forward to an even better 2025! But you can't improve what you don't measure. We're off the grid! This month we installed a 7.2 kW solar system at our office in Sun Prairie that will produce over 100% of our annual electricity usage. We also received an ENERGY STAR recognition for the building, and ironically the building scored a "90" out of 100, meaning it is more energy efficient than 90% of similar buildings nationwide. Another school district is generating its own electricity! Black River Falls High School has installed a 100 kW solar PV system across three roof sections. The 244 solar panels generate approximately 20% of the school's annual electricity needs, saving around $15,000 per year on energy costs. Additionally, we assisted in obtaining rebates from Focus on Energy and tax credits from the Inflation Reduction Act. This project not only reduces expenses but also promotes sustainable energy practices within the community.

Exciting news for Monticello High School! We’ve just completed a 65 kW solar project that’s set to reshape their energy profile. The solar system accounts for 15% of the electricity for the building and will generate approximately $11,000 worth of electricity per year at today's rates. This project has a payback period of less than 10 years, thanks to the rebate from Focus on Energy, grants from Midwest Renewable Energy Association and the Couillard Solar Foundation, and a tax credit from the Inflation Reduction Act. #SolarPower #Sustainability #GreenEnergy #MonticelloHighSchool #upper90
