UPLIFT San Diego attended the documentary screening of BEYOND THE BRIDGE "A SOLUTION TO HOMELESSNESS" The panelists include Mirle Rabinowitz Bussell Associate Teaching Professor, Urban Studies and Planning; Faculty Director, Homelessness Hub Rebecca Louie President and CEO, Wakeland Housing David Bell Policy Chair, HEAL Network Sean Elo-Rivera San Diego City Council President (District 9) BEYOND THE BRIDGE is an ambitious documentary film about solutions to homelessness. A Bigger Vision Films team traveled over 40,000 miles around the US to answer this question: How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way? Thursday was National Day of Prayer. The Day we turn to God with Prayer & Meditation. This annual day of observance is designated by the United States Congress and held on the first Thursday of May.
