At this event, students will present their Moon Mission projects, which will be launched to the surface of the Moon (Fall 2025). The top-performing students and their teachers, based on judges' scores, will earn the incredible opportunity to represent their middle schools at the Moon Mission launch at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. There, the students and teachers will meet engineers and astronauts and witness their schools' projects launch on a rocket to the Moon. ?? FIREFLY MAKES HISTORY! ?? The first commercial company to stick the landing on the Moon—a 10/10 touchdown! ???? I had the privilege of joining with Sian “Leo” Proctor, Ph.D. at Firefly Aerospace HQ in Texas to witness this incredible moment. Huge congratulations to all the teams at Firefly and NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration! And a special thank you to Jason Kim for hosting us—it's clear that Firefly is being led by an exceptional leader who brings joy, dedication, and laser focus to their mission. During the Moon landing celebration, Sian honored the achievement by sharing her powerful Blue Ghost Rider poem—a tribute to this historic milestone. Sitting down with NASA's acting Administrator, Janet Petro, I couldn’t help but share how Sian is one of the most authentic, kind, and fearless people I know. She lifts others at every opportunity. This is an exciting time for the space industry. In the coming weeks, two more commercial companies will attempt Moon landings, marking another step forward in lunar exploration and highlighting the growing momentum in the space sector. I’m looking forward to carrying this energy into our work at Uplift Aerospace as we inspire the next generation and equip them with the skills needed for the high-tech jobs of the future. ???? ?? FEELING IMMENSE GRATITUDE ?? Walking into Women Tech Council's SheTech Explorer Day and seeing thousands of young women gathered together to meet with mentors, go through tech workshops, and meet with local industry was a powerful moment. Uplift Aerospace had the privilege of allowing many of the attending young women to step into the boots of an astronaut and experience the thrill of space exploration. It was incredible to watch them engage, to see their curiosity spark as they connected with technology in new ways. Through our collaboration with Blue Origin's Club for the Future, they even had the chance to send their own postcards to space, each carrying a personal message that will travel to space and back on an upcoming New Shephard flight. More than anything, Explorer day is a reminder of how important it is to create opportunities for young women in STEM. Seeing them support and inspire one another throughout the day was truly encouraging. A huge thank you to Kristin Wright and the Women Tech Council team for making this possible and for leading the way in building a stronger, more inclusive future in tech.

Using VR, students at Starborn Academy embarked on astronaut missions that combined space science, engineering, and critical thinking, making learning exciting, accessible, and fun.
