Entity salience is how Google determines what’s important in your content—like a human would. It’s not about stuffing the right keywords in the right places. Try this prompt: “We sell [SERVICE] to [ICP]. We want to ensure our content has the best possible salience. Please perform a salience analysis of [URL], providing clear feedback on gaps/issues with examples.” You can run this right now with Google AI Studio (link in commentts) Why This Matters More Than Ever 1) It forces you to create content that’s actually useful instead of just optimized for a search engine. 2) It helps improve conversions and engagement by making sure you’re writing for real people, not just algorithms. 3) It aligns with Google MUM & NLP, meaning search engines don’t need exact-match keywords—they understand topics in context. Salience won’t fix content slop. It won’t trick Google's algo into ranking you higher. But it will help you figure out precisely what your content is missing.
