In case you missed it! Abby Ammons had reached out to me a few weeks ago to ask if I would be interested in speaking with KSAT about the work I am doing with the support received from Second Service Foundation; I, of course, said yes. Shortly after saying yes, the car accident I was in occurred, but the momentum that military child care had needed to continue. KSAT set up a time to come out, and Courtney Friedman and Adam Barraza were a dream to work this interview with. Anytime childcare access can take the spotlight as the leading cause behind the most quality-of-life issues that military families face; I will fight for it. The child care search tools were created as the result of a collaboration with Dana Levin-Robinson and Operation Child Care and that data drives the decisions that The Operation Child Care Project makes. Families will tell you what they need, you just need to listen.
