We are officially launching our EASTER CAMPAIGN very soon! ???? We want to encourage as many people as possible to get out this spring and clean up some plastic waste in your local communities. The campaign is centred around scanning your finds on WASTEBASE whilst using the tag #easter to log them against the campaign. There will be sustainable-based product and voucher prizes at the end of the campaign for various categories and we’ll have helped the planet in the process. ???? We have a new data partner in 4Revs Africa ?? 4Revs are based in Nigeria and part of the Next Leaders Initiative for Sustainability (NELIS) Nelis Global carrying out activities in Waste Management, Waste to Energy, Education for Climate Change and more. They’re supporting our work in Africa by validating the data recorded at clean ups and waste audits across the continent. Over the weekend it was World Waste Pickers Day, a day to recognise the hardworking individuals who play a crucial role in keeping our planet clean. Waste pickers sort, collect, and recycle materials, reducing landfill waste and promoting sustainability. Let’s take a moment to appreciate their efforts and advocate for better working conditions, fair wages, and social inclusion.
