    Celebrating growth and leadership – VAN Emerging Leaders pilot program Macquarie Virtual Adviser Network is very proud to finalise the Emerging Leaders pilot program. This tailor-made leadership development program was designed with a clear vision: to address the financial advice industries pressing challenges of succession and help businesses to retain high-caliber staff through nurturing the next generation of leaders. Over the past three months, our participants embarked on an intensive learning journey which was delivered by industry experts Rema Lolas Unstoppable Leadership and Charmion Ingram GAICD @Blink Consulting. Our participants' dedication and eagerness to grow has been the true testament behind the success of the program. Here are 5 truths every leader can reflect on: 1?? You can’t do everything yourself: Delegation is not just an option, it’s a must. Trust your team and empower them to take ownership. 2?? Your vision won’t always be clear: It’s okay if your vision evolves over time. Be ready to face uncertainty and adjust your path as new insights and situations come up. 3?? Your leadership style will fail at times: What works with one team or in one situation may not work in another. Be prepared to adapt your leadership style and approach as needed! 4?? Your best ideas might not always win: Even your most innovative or strategic ideas might get overlooked. And that’s okay. Leadership is often about collaboration, and the best ideas usually come from the collective, not just from you. 5??
