Congratulations to our Flag Football division for being named a Champion of Economic Impact. Sports Destination Management recognized the 2024 Youth Flag Football World Championships that took place at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports. The second annual event was the largest youth flag football tournament of its kind, with 456 teams and 4,500 athletes from 33 states and five counties participating. Eleven of the championship games aired live on ESPN+. Congrats to our team, including our dedicated staff at NEFFL, for hosting an incredible event that these young athletes will never forget. We're honored to announce that Ripken Baseball's All-Ripken Games have been named a 2024 SportsTravel Award Winner today as "Best New Event." While team participation remains a cornerstone of Ripken Baseball, the All-Ripken Games have created a unique and exciting opportunity for individual players and their families to play at iconic venues like Cooperstown All Star Village and our Ripken Experiences. As we wrapped up our season earlier this month, the demand for All-Ripken continues to soar. In 2024, we expanded to 12 four-day events, including two outside of Ripken facilities. The All-Ripken Games have taken off in year number two! The lessons learned, memories made, and new friendships forged are unique to All-Ripken, where teams are constructed for one tournament over four days. Talented young players come together from different backgrounds, experiences, skills, and personalities. New bonds form every week on the field and in the stands. As you can see in this video, the results are magical! All-Ripken allows individual players and their families to experience many of the world's best youth facilities, including The Ripken Experience?. This year's schedule features 12 tournaments in 10 states, including two of our most popular All-Ripken events happening over Labor Day Weekend at Cooperstown All Star Village and The Ripken Experience?
