#NatureBasedSolutions in Action! ?? Barcelona's Cristóbal de Moura Street is a prime example of how nature-based solutions (NbS) can transform #urbanareas. Redesigned in 2021, this 32,000m2 green axis integrates Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) to manage rainwater sustainably: ??Floodable gardens and bioretention areas increase resilience and biodiversity. ?? Permeable paving and infiltration basins store over 2,200 m3 of water. This transformation demonstrates how NbS can make cities more liveable and #climateresilient. ???
