Meet Lily Swan ‘07, a proud #UNLVCOEAlumni who thrived on campus with her various involvements. Lily is currently the Director of International Services at the University of Detroit Mercy. She was inspired to take this role from being a graduate assistant at UNLV’s international office -talk about a full circle moment! We had the chance to sit down with Lily to talk more about her time at @UNLV. When asked about aspects of campus culture that helped prepare her for the professional world, Lily had raving reviews of the campus environment and the way it encourages diversity, not only culturally, but in ways of thinking, mindset, and approaches to problem solving. When we asked Lily about any advice she would give to current UNLV students, she provided us with a lot of wisdom! Lily advises that students should do whatever they love and are interested in what comes to their careers. She further advises to be adaptable with whatever life will throw at you. She also says to check and read your emails! Thanks for the reminder, Lily! #AlumniSpotlight #RebelsMakeItHappen #RebelsForever #UNLV #UNLVRebels #UNLVCOE #UNLVCOEAlum
