Earlier this week, we were proud to sponsor an event hosted by the @Vegas Chamber Executive Women's Council. Our director Nadine Bentis had the pleasure to attend?Setbacks & Comebacks?with Marion Jones, where she shared how to overcome obstacles and come back stronger. Uplifting and supporting the women in our community is always important—especially during Women’s History Month. Tell us about a woman who inspires you in honor of Women’s History Month!???

The EMBA Program was proud to sponsor the Vegas Inc. Women Inspiring Nevada Awards. Congratulations to the ten honorees, who represent a growing and thriving network of accomplished women in Nevada. They uplift those around them while forging their own paths to success. A special shoutout to Tashina from Cohort 17, whom I met at the event!

As part of EMBA 716 International Business Cohort 22 visited Catholic Charities, the State Refugee Office in Nevada. Here they spoke and had presentation and tour with Immigration, Migration and Refugee Services staff and participated in a volunteer opportunity. Site visits are one way students can see what they are learning in action.
