Yesterday marked a significant milestone in my DPT journey as I had the honor of participating in the University of South Florida SPTRS White Coat Ceremony. This moment symbolizes not only the hard work and dedication it took to get here but also the responsibility I am about to undertake in providing compassionate and evidence-based care to those in need.
The Commitment to the Profession Ceremony reminded me of the importance of empathy, lifelong learning, and the privilege of making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. As I continue to grow in my knowledge and skills, I am more excited than ever to be a part of the incredible field of physical therapy.
I also had the honor of receiving the Tom A. Tiedemann Scholarship in recognition of academic excellence. This recognition reflects the countless hours of studying, perseverance, and passion for learning that have guided me throughout this journey. It's a reminder that hard work truly pays off, and I’m motivated more than ever to continue pushing forward.
