Great work from a current MPA student and a recent alum!
So proud of our colleagues Peter Kobak and Prosper Tornyi for presenting at this year’s Ohio City/County Management Association (OCMA) annual conference in Columbus. ? This year’s conference theme, “Building Ohio Together,” afforded an opportunity to present on the OCRI’s Ohio Persistent Cyber Improvement (O-PCI) program, a whole-of-organization training that the State of Ohio provides at no cost to local governments. ? Because cyber incidents at local governments are on the rise in Ohio and across the nation, Kobak and Tornyi gave an overview of how local governments can join in this training to better prepare and know how to respond to cyberattacks. Kobak is the Associate Director of O-PCI and Tornyi, MPA candidate ’25, is an OCRI graduate assistant. ? To date, more than?3,000 public employees?have received the O-PCI training. The training is tailored to the roles that your employees play in an organization and includes both at-your-own-pace online components, as well as in-person cyber exercises. The O-PCI program is provided by the Ohio Cyber Range Institute, thanks to a grant from the Cybersecurity and Information Security Agency, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the State of Ohio. #cybersecurity #ocri #ohio
