We love honoring our Healthcare Heroes, Scott Zweerink, PharmD, System Director Pharmacy Operations and Roy Cadiz, RN who cares for patients receiving infusions in the Richard & Annette Bloch Cancer Center at University Health. Dr. Zweerink's dedication to ensuring patients receive the medications they rely on to recover and thrive, coupled with the support he offers the pharmacy team that reports to him, improves care for all of our patients. Some of the medication that Dr. Zweerink’s team prepares is administered by our other hero, Roy Cadiz, RN. Roy’s patients are often battling cancer and the side-effects of their treatment. But we’ve never seen one of those patients not smile when they talk about the exceptional care Cadiz offers as he provides cancer care for all.??

We are a community hospital providing the continuum of care— from emergency medicine to a nationally-certified orthopaedic joint replacement program — as well as The Family Birthplace, We have several family medical care centers and a radiology center, Medical Imaging Eastland, that provides the latest in technology and specialized breast cancer care.
