He treats a wide variety of gastrointestinal issues and specializes in advanced endoscopic procedures. ?? The single best thing you can do to lower your risk of developing colorectal cancer is to get screened as per recommended guidelines. For most people, that means getting screened regularly starting at age 45. However, those who may be at higher risk may need to start screening earlier.
