Available to residents of Rensselaer, Albany, Saratoga, and Schenectady counties, the Crisis Support Space offers 6 private bedrooms in a space for adults in crisis affecting their mental health. Check out the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation's “What If” mini-grant program. This is a great opportunity for individuals or small nonprofit groups in Rensselaer County who have a project or program idea. The maximum grant award is $5,000. All applicants must attend a Community Information Meeting before applying for funding, and two are scheduled for mid-March. The application process starts with a phone call to discuss your idea.
